In 1986 I fell in love with baseball. It started as a bonding activity with my dad and led to my life-long fascination with baseball stats. I noticed flaws in baseball statistics, leading me to embrace “Jamesian” logic that values data over convention. Bill James revolutionized the use of data in baseball, challenging traditional perspectives.
